Parasuram das: Srila Prabhupada would say"don't waste your valuable life", or "don't waste your time",or "don't waste a farthing"or"simply don't waste". Can you believe we live in an age where we waste 40% of good food, when that food could be diverted from landfills, cooked as an offering to Krishna and distributed profusely to the poor souls of Kali yuga---everyone
Parasuram das: I hope this has enlightened everyone on this burning issue of the farthing mystery, please note I have not cracked any frivolous jokes with a word similar to farthing as we are sober devotees, here in the UK

If Prabhupada smiled at you directly and connected for even a second, it became an indelible samskara that would stay with you for life. Everyone hankered for those gems and collected them as precious gifts. Prabhupada continued to look from side to side to acknowledge everyone, and then when he was about 15 feet from me, he bestowed one of those jewels on me. I smiled gratefully and fixed my gaze on him

Although Scientists don’t believe in god but this article scientifically proves that God do exist and he is the creator, maintainer and destroyer of entire universe. I hope after reading this article all atheists will convert into theist
The other day I felt that things kept going wrong, and I began to mentally blame everyone around me for the dissatisfaction I was feeling. At a certain point, however, some insight kicked in that it might just have something to do with me and my outlook. When I thought of how unsympathetic I’d been to several different friends and co-workers, I felt bad. After work I went to the temple to chant on my beads, hoping that the chanting would put me back on course.
Four Marital Relationship Tips Meant to Improve Your Life
(this blog is recorded on the full page: quick time player needed; works best with Firefox or Explorer) My wife and I are traveling to the devotee farm community, Gita Nagari, near Port Royal, PA this Thursday to assist other members of the Grihastha Vision Team facilitate a couples' retreat this weekend (June 7-9). In preparing for our part of the retreat, I’m naturally thinking of what makes a successful marriage and relationship. What might be some helpful tips, like sutras or codes, seeds to plant, that will ideally give rise to reflections on how to grow, nurture, and implement them? In many people’s experience, solutions to life’s varied problems are often simple to explain, but more difficult to carry out. However, where there is a will, there is a way, combined with prayer and a good support system.
Before I explain them in a little detail, let’s cut to the chase, by listing all four tips:
Tip 1: Be committed to personal growth work and the introspection it fosters in order to become the best person you can. Work on letting go of those parts of your conditioning that are unfavorable for having happy, healthy, and meaningful relationships. In short, “Know thyself,” or your strengths and weaknesses, and strive to improve for everyone's benefit.
The Art Department has been actively expanding over the recent months. The images from the drawings are coming to life as sculptors and masons shape their masterpieces on the temple site. The most exciting endeavor has been the recent development of one of the elephants at the main entrance to the temple. There will be two elephants which will serve as decorative ornamentation, each built around a pillar. The sculptures will be six meters high and will conceal the supporting pillar structure.
A Story of Devotion: One devotee's account of how he was inspired to donate to the TOVP.
I came in touch with Krishna Consciousness in 2004 when I joined the Government Polytechnic College in Coimbatore. An ISKCON temple was near my college. I very much got inspiration from the lectures of HH Bhakti Vinode Swami Maharaj, who was at that time HG Sarveswara Prabhu, temple president of ISKCON, Coimbatore.
The TOVP Architecture and Design Department - What have we done in 2012?
As the clocks tick and calendars turn pages, the verdict of Lord Nityananda manifests into a tangible reality. Weaving the thread between then and now is Srila Prabhupada's instruction to our beloved Ambarisa Prabhu, who has laudably carried it in his heart for over 30 onerous years.
